Dylan G. Hudson, 20

Dylan G. Hudson, 20, of Kalispell, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012, in Whitefish, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Dylan was born in Rochester, Mich., Nov. 26, 1991, and was raised in Kalispell. He attended Romeo High School, Glacier High School and Laser.  

In 2009, he moved to Austin, Texas, with the love of his life, Eden Dalrymple.

Throughout his incredible life Dylan enjoyed skateboarding, dirt biking, hunting and fishing. He was skilled with guns and enjoyed shooting. He spent his summers on Flathead Lake wakeboarding, and his winters on Big Mountain snowboarding. He was charismatic, charming and compassionate, and will be deeply missed.

Dylan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gloria and Gerald Blake, Ronald Hudson, and his uncle, Ken Blake.

He is survived by his parents, Kimberly and Christopher McEwen of Kalispell, and Leo and Jennifer Hudson of Romeo, Mich.; his sister, Julia Hudson, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and his brother, Kenny Clare, of Bigfork; Ryan McEwen of Salt Lake City, Katie McEwen of Missoula, and Mollie and Madeline McEwen of Kalispell. His large family in Michigan includes his brother Billy, sister Gabriella, brother Antonio and sister Lily Ana, his grandmother Jeanette, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dylan’s plans were to spend time with his awesome group of friends at the family lake place on Skidoo Bay in Polson. He was leaving this fall to attend Austin Community College with the hopes of transferring to the University of Texas to pursue engineering.

A memorial service celebrating Dylan’s life will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home. The family would like to greet friends at the funeral home an hour prior to the service.
