Ronald L. Toney, 74

Ronald L. Toney, 74, of Ferndale, passed on June 24, 2012, at his home after battling MDS, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, for over a year.

Ron was born Jan. 3, 1938, in Townsend, to Helen Marie and Walter Raymond Toney.

Ron made his living as an extremely accomplished upholsterer.

He loved to hunt, fish and ride his horse. He had a great passion for his puppies.

Ron is survived by his one and only son, Ronald G. Toney, of Missoula; daughters, Ronda L. Conner of Bakersfield, Calif., Marie R. Stanley of Gibsonville, N.C., Carol L. Toney of Bigfork, Constance L. Glanton of Missoula, and Julie Cooper of Idaho Falls, Idaho; 22 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, at Bigfork Community Cemetery on Swan River Road.
