Events planned this Sunday

Who: Chiropractors Oliver Whipple and Delaney Carlson invite the public to a benefit for Susan Bennett, a veteran amputee single mother needing financial support as she waits to receive her prosthetic right arm. Suggested cover charge donation of $5.

What: Benefit 4 Bennett features bluegrass music from Swing Wagon from 3 to 4:30 p.m.; a jam session with musical attendees from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.; The Kenny James Miller Band from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; food including Whipple’s competition-winning chili and “killer” hot dogs along with liquid refreshments for children and adults; door prizes, drawings and a silent auction of local goods and services.
