Studying Flathead Lake

The University of Montana’s biological station is studying the food web in Flathead Lake — seen here from Wayfarer’s State Park in Bigfork Thursday afternoon — for the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes as part of an environmental review for a proposed lake trout netting project on the lake.
