Sex trafficking discussion overhead in coffee shop

Saturday afternoon, a man asked to talk to a Kalispell Police Department officer about a sex trafficking conversation that he overheard in a coffee shop.

Someone found a wedding ring and turned it in to police.

Later that evening, a passerby reported seeing a teenage girl, who appeared to be drunk, walk out into traffic on West Idaho Street. Police picked the girl up and took her to booking. Medical assistance was later requested.

A caller on Two Mile Drive reported that someone drove through the lawn between two apartment buildings.

Saturday night, a truck ran into a fence on U.S. 93 and drove off. The truck hit a gas line that had to be shut off.

A caller on California Street reported seeing a couple of kids in the neighborhood possibly breaking into cars.

After a traffic stop on First Avenue West North early Sunday morning, a man was arrested for a warrant from Washington State.

A employee at a business on U.S. 93 said a man punched out a window. The caller told police the man was on the dance floor.

A caller on Fifth Avenue West reported hearing a woman screaming.

A man said his phone was possibly stolen. He said when it went missing he called it and saw a suspicious man at the bar put his hand in his pocket like he was silencing a phone.

A caller reported a woman walking down Fifth Avenue West and yelling. The woman told police she was walking from a bar looking for a place to stay.

An employee at a business on East Idaho Street told police a man ordered and sounded very drunk and then passed out in his vehicle.

Later Sunday morning, a caller complained that the neighbor’s kids littered on his property.

A woman on First Avenue East told police that someone tried to pull up a metal archway at her home.

Vending machines on U.S. 93 were reportedly vandalized.

Someone found a driver’s license on the sidewalk on First Avenue East and turned it in to police.

A man said someone hit his Audi while it was parked on Fourth Avenue West Saturday night.

A caller said a reckless driver jumped a curb and almost hit their grandchild at Fifth Avenue West and Sixth Street West.

A woman on Greatview Drive told police that a man was harassing her and he was at the police department filing a complaint against her. She said the man had tried to sexually assault her Saturday night. The man told police the woman was following and harassing him.

Later Sunday afternoon, police responded to a report of an unresponsive man sitting in his running truck in a parking lot on U.S. 93. The man was breathing but unresponsive and had a bump on his forehead.

Saturday afternoon, a theft on East Fourth Street was reported to the Whitefish Police Department.

Police investigated a report of someone making threats on O’Brien Avenue.

Animal cruelty was reported on East First Street.

Suspicious activity was reported on Fir Avenue.

Early Sunday morning, police responded to a report of an intoxicated driver on Colorado Avenue.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested someone for possession of dangerous drugs during a traffic stop early Saturday morning.

Polson Police Department officers cited someone for partner family member assault after responding to a disorderly conduct complaint on 11th Avenue West Saturday.
