Community college offers interim-session courses

 Flathead Valley Community College offers a variety of short-term interim session courses with college credits in as little as two weeks instead of a traditional semester.

Courses that will meet May 14 through May 25 include Basic Physical Science and Life Drawing Workshop.

From May 14 through June 1, the college offers Human Relations in Business, Interpersonal Relations/Communications, Introduction to Business Writing, Introduction to Philosophy, Introduction to Psychology, Math for the Liberal Arts and Poetry. Human Anatomy & Physiology 1 meets May 14 through June 21.

In addition, students may take online interim session courses: Cash Flow Analysis, Discover Biology, Personal Finance, Principles of Finance, Small Business Budgeting and Understanding Financial Statements.

Students with completed admissions files can register online on the college’s website. Others can register in the college’s Admissions Office in Blake Hall Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through May 11.

Students are encouraged to register for courses early Degree-seeking students must meet with an adviser before registering.
