Melted pot sets off apartment fire alarm
The Kalispell Police Department responded to an apartment building on Airport Road after the manager heard a fire alarm going off, and the door for the apartment was ajar and a large amount of smoke was coming out. He couldn’t wake up children in the apartment, although they were alive. He also tried to open windows. The manager found that a pot had melted to the stove.
An employee of a West Idaho Street business said a large group of teenagers were loitering and drinking in the parking lot. One of the teenagers had a large cut on his arm and dripped blood on the floor of the store when he came inside. They later left, seeming very drunk, in a truck.
