Fire crews to burn house on Saturday

The Kalispell Fire Department will conduct a live fire training exercise Saturday at 815 W. Wyoming St.

The exercise starts at 9 a.m. and runs until about 4 p.m.

The abandoned house is owned by the Flathead County Fairgrounds and has been used for other training exercises over the last two months, Fire Chief Dave Dedman said.

“We don’t get a chance to burn a house that often, so we take every possibility we can to do it,” Dedman said.

West Wyoming Street will be closed to traffic during the exercise.
