Man gives fast food a brass knuckle sandwich

A bear was seen roaming around in Hungry Horse.

 

Officers with the Kalispell Police Department arrested one man on preliminary charges of driving under the influence, carrying a concealed weapon, eluding, criminal mischief and obstructing a peace officer and another man on a charge of obstructing a peace officer after an incident on U.S. 2 West early Saturday morning.

The first man punched out the window of a drive-through with brass knuckles, pointed directly at an employee and said “I’m coming back for you.” He was eventually apprehended after a pursuit on Two Mile Drive. 

A person later reported they had video of the incident.

A group of 25 people on bicycles, possibly underage, were reported drinking in the middle of the intersection of Fourth Avenue South and Canyon Road, hollering at passersby. They eventually left, with half heading one way and half heading another way.

Officers responded to West Idaho Street after receiving a report of teenagers spinning their tires and refusing to leave.

Several people were smoking marijuana in front of a Second Avenue West home before going to a swing dance. The resident said it was an ongoing problem.

Vandals ripped down an American flag in front of a home on Woodland Avenue twice in two days, bending the pole bracket, which had to be replaced.

A Second Avenue West woman reported someone broke into her home and stole her dog and other items while she was out of town.

A motorist was arrested during a traffic stop on Two Mile Drive for driving under the influence.

A vehicle was reported stolen on Merganser Drive.

A laptop and a video game system were stolen from an East Idaho Street home.

A lock box and cash were stolen from a home on Fairway Boulevard.

A man was reported letting the air out of tires on a vehicle on Appleway Drive.

A man was arrested on a Powell County warrant on Liberty Street.

An assault was reported on North Meridian Road.

 

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report of five children riding motorcycles on the railroad tracks near Ninth Street West.

A man and a woman were arrested on Fifth Street West.

A man was arrested on a warrant in a bar on Nucleus Avenue.

Six students were caught smoking tobacco products at lunchtime on 13th Street West.

An iPod was stolen on 13th Street West.

 

The Whitefish Police Department received a report of a fight on Central Avenue.

 

Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested a person for partner or family member assault on Sixth Street West.

A person was arrested on an out-of-county warrant on U.S. 93.

Deputies investigated a report of custodial interference on Spud Lane.
