Seminar today to teach about false currency

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office is offering one-hour seminars today for local businesses and banks on how to detect false currency.

The free seminar was organized by the Sheriff’s Office following a few local counterfeiting cases and will feature U.S. Secret Service representatives.

It will be held today at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Evergreen Fire Hall, located at 2236 U.S. 2 East.
