Store has pointy plumbing problem

An employee of a gas station on U.S. 2 South in Kalispell contacted the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office about a unique toilet problem. When trying to fix an ongoing problem with the toilet in the women’s restroom, the employee found a large butcher knife in the tank.

A resident of Woodland Road in Columbia Falls requested a deputy talk to an 11-year-old girl about stealing from family members. It was suggested the parent try talking to the child about it first.

A Martin City resident on Spotted Bear Road reported being stuck inside her truck because a cougar was wandering around the outside it.

A man was arrested on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell.

A man and a woman were arrested on Antelope Trail in Whitefish.

A man was reported driving with a beer in his hand and a large handgun in his lap.

A man was arrested after turning himself in on a Whitefish warrant.

A handgun was found in a Dumpster in Olney.

Attempted break-ins were reported on Cayuse Lane and Montana 35.

Someone broke into a home on U.S. 2 East in Martin City by breaking a window with a rock.

Someone broke into a home on West Cottonwood Drive and stole prescription medication.

Several items were stolen from an office on Trumble Creek Road.

A load of fir logs was stolen from a semi-trailer.

A wallet was stolen out of a purse on South Woodland Drive.

The manager/owner of a business on U.S. 93 South told Kalispell Police he keeps finding needles in the parking lot. In this particular instance, the owner reported finding 10 needles, rubber hose material, beer bottles and condoms.

A concerned mother reported someone punched her son in the face while he was waiting at the school bus stop. She was advised to contact the principal and the school resource officer.

A man was arrested after it was reported that he hit a woman in the face at a bar on U.S. 93 South. Several people held him down while waiting for police to arrive.

A man was arrested on Fourth Street West for driving under the influence.

A concerned neighbor reported loud noise and the smell of marijuana coming from a house on First Street West.

A purse was stolen from a locker at Glacier High School.

Cash was stolen from a gym locker at Glacier High School.

A theft was reported on Hutton Ranch Road.

A Sixth Street West woman reported to the Columbia Falls Police Department that some neighbor youths vandalized her son’s truck. She said her son’s girlfriend confronted the family about it, which didn’t go well, and that the possible suspects later cornered and threatened her, saying it would be in her best interest not to notify police.

A yelling woman was arrested outside a 12th Avenue West home, part of an ongoing problem.

A person was arrested during a traffic stop on Railroad Street.

Officers with the Ronan Police Department arrested a motorist for driving under the influence.

While assisting a driver, officers arrested a person for criminal contempt.

Officers with the Polson Police Department found a student in possession of alcohol or another intoxicant at Polson High School.

Disorderly conduct was reported in the Linderman area.
