NWA volleyball: Frenchtown spikers on top at divisional play

FRENCHTOWN — Frenchtown came into the Northwestern A divisional volleyball tournament with just two league wins.

On Friday the Broncs rolled up three victories. They are also the only undefeated team in the tournament at this point.

The Broncs started by dispensing with Columbia Falls, 29-27, 25-21, 18-25, 25-12, and followed by knocking off regular season league champion and top seed Whitefish, 25-16, 25-23, 25-18. Frenchtown capped off its busy day by dumping second seed Polson, 25-21, 17-25, 15-25, 25-22, 15-11, in an evening match.

Divisional play wraps up today with the top two teams advancing to state.
