Watercolorist leads November artists' forum
Nationally known watercolorist Karen Leigh will lead this month’s Crits and Croissants artists’ forum at the Hockaday Museum of Art.
Leigh is a signature member of the Montana Watercolor Society and received the organization’s Gold Medal in 2006 and the President’s Award in 2008. She is inspired by the beauty and spirit of her native Montana as well as by her travels abroad.
Leigh will lead the forum from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Crits and Croissants gives those who create art a chance to have their work reviewed by professionals. Artists 15 and older may bring one or more pieces of recently created artwork for critique while enjoying coffee and croissants.
Those interested in participating in this month’s forum should meet in the Hockaday’s classroom. There is a $5 fee for museum members, $7 for nonmembers.
The museum is located at 302 Second Ave. E., Kalispell. For further information, visit www.hockadaymuseum.org or call 755-5268.
