Freelance salvager forgot to get permission

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called in to deal with confusion between neighbors on South Cedar Drive, where a woman had torn down her carport. Her neighbor, on probation for aggravated animal cruelty, came over and took all the lumber and paneling from the carport without permission. The man agreed to return the materials.

A 35-year-old man reportedly threatened to shoot another person on Solberg Drive.

A different type of water hazard was reported at one of the buildings at a Montana 206 golf course, where a pipe was shooting water straight up in the air from the roof.

A pair of men were seen “patrolling” East Edgewood Drive in Whitefish in an old white pickup truck, with one of the men wearing a hunter orange hat and camouflage coat and the other holding a rifle on his lap.

A six-foot bearded man wearing several jackets was reported to the Whitefish Police Department after he was “freaking out” when a fire siren went off. The man, who was drunk, yelling and acting strange, told the bartender at the Central Avenue bar that he was going to walk home to Hungry Horse.

A dispatcher discovered that a 911 call in which the caller hung up was the result of “a whole horde of kids” playing with a phone on Birch Drive.

The office manager at a local church contacted the Columbia Falls Police Department about a transient who has been sleeping on the property.

A young man fled the scene after running over a mailbox on 10th Avenue West.

Polson Police Department officers arrested a person for possessing alcohol or another intoxicant on Weber Avenue.
