Donnie McPheeters, 53

Donnie McPheeters, 53, of Hungry Horse, passed away Oct. 24, 2012, in Hungry Horse, due to an accident.

For 30 years, he had been a commercial crab fisherman in Alaska, the Bering Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.

He was preceded in death in 2004 by his twin brother, Ronnie; and his mother and father, Anita June Corey and Otis Dale McPheeters.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Darla; and sons, Cody and Justin; also his brothers, Walter Bert and Mel; his sister, Rennie Christensen; and many aunts, uncles and cousins on the Corey side.

He will be dearly missed by his nephews and family.

There will be a celebration of life and potluck at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Dam Town Tavern in Hungry Horse. Everyone is invited.
