Man pleads guilty to reduced charge
A 60-year-old Kalispell man pleaded guilty Thursday in Flathead District Court to a reduced charge of felony criminal endangerment.
Michael Perkins is alleged to have hit a 12-year-old boy who he said refused to leave his home on June 1. A court document states that the boy told police Perkins had provided him with alcohol before hitting him. The boy, who was found unconscious in the road, suffered a bloody nose.
Perkins was originally charged with felony assault on a minor.
Perkins faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $50,000. His sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 20.
