Community Thanksgiving in Bigfork

A community tradition in its third year served 220 meals on Thanksgiving Day in Bigfork.

The Pocketstone Cafe Community Thanksgiving involved three cafe owners, two employees and more than 40 volunteers working together.

Ten turkeys were prepared, along with four trays of stuffing, 10 gallons of gravy, 30 pounds of green beans, 90 pounds of butternut squash and two dozen pies. This is the third year the Pocketstone has hosted this free event.

To the north in Kalispell, Sykes' Restaurant also held its annual free community dinner on Thanksgiving Day.
