Caryl Marie Dodgson, 96
Caryl Marie Dodgson, 96, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at the Heritage Place in Kalispell, with her family at her side.
Caryl was born in Cathay, N.D., on April 20, 1916, to Carl H. and Lydia (Whittmeyer) Schwarz. She was raised in Eastern Montana and completed her schooling in Brockton. Caryl then went on to Kinman Business College in Spokane.
She returned to Montana and in the years that followed, she married three times and raised six children.
Caryl was a friend, teacher, a pianist, seamstress, a painter and a writer. She was a lover of music, wildflowers, birds and all things kind to the heart. She was well loved by all of her many friends and family. Caryl will be missed by everyone she touched in her life.
Caryl was preceded in death by her first husband, Victor J. Jaumotte, in 1951; her second husband, Carl Utsond, in 1965; and her third husband, Gilbert Dodgson, in 2008.
She is survived by her children, Carl Jaumotte, Jeffrey Dodgson, Nicole (Jaumotte) Kurzenbaum, David Jaumotte, Laura (Utsond) Cooksey, Leslie Dodgson, and their family members, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Memorial services for Caryl will be held in late spring as she is laid to rest with her husband, Gilbert, in the Big Hole Valley, Mont.
