AA football all-conference honors announced
Glacier defensive end Devin Jeffries was voted Class AA’s defensive most valuable player and leads a host of Glacier players voted to the Western AA’s all-conference football team.
The Wolfpack was a state semifinalist for a second straight year and finished the regular season first in Class AA in both total defense and scoring defense.
Five members of that Glacier defense — Jeffries, defensive lineman Brendan Windauer, inside linebacker Todd Ogden, safety Rial Gunlikson and cornerback Reid Siderius — earned first-team all-conference honors. Defensive end Austin Foucher, inside linebacker Shelton Todd and cornerback Evan Epperly were voted to the second team.
Tight end Kalen Reed, tackle Zach Dennehy and wide receiver Kyle Griffith were selected to the first team offense while guard Danny Roe, center Chase Eisenzimer, wide receiver Nic Cramer, quarterback Taylor Hulslander and fullback Noah James picked up second team honors.
Griffith was also named the first team kicker and second team punt returner. Logan Jones was honored as the first team kick returner and Gunlikson has chosen as a second team punter.
Four Flathead Braves also earned all-conference honors.
Gage Marcum was chosen as a first team offensive tackle and Dylan Torgerson was picked as the first team punter.
Wide receiver Kevin Grosswiler and safety Matthew Tokarz earned second team honors.
Helena Capital running back Gunnar Brekke was voted Western AA’s most valuable offensive player.
Bozeman defensive end Will Dissly and Butte quarterback Dallas Cook were voted the Eastern AA’s most valuable players.
