The Glacier Twins board of directors voted to drop the program’s AA American Legion baseball team due to a lack of enrollment at this month’s board meeting.

The Twins will continue to field an A team, coached by Bob Rupp, and hope to also field a B team.

The Twins’ AA team finished last season 6-47, and was 0-25 in conference games.

“I think they feel they’ll be more competitive,” Montana American Legion chairman George Haegele said of the Twins’ new setup.

With the Twins no longer fielding a AA team, the Kalispell Lakers will be the only AA squad in the Flathead Valley.
