Conrad Mansion gears up for Christmas

It may be barely October, but one Kalispell establishment is gearing up for the holidays.

Christmas at the Mansion takes place at the end of the month at the Conrad Mansion.

During the bazaar, the mansion is decorated for Christmas, with lights ablaze on an 18-foot live tree. The scents of evergreens and baked goods fill the air, and crafts, vintage pieces and antiques are available for purchase.

A preview party, with early buying privileges, is scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 26. The event includes music, arts, crafts, champagne and appetizers. Tickets are $45 each, or $40 for museum members, and are available Tuesday through Saturday in the gift shop.

Reservations are required. This event typically sells out.

The bazaar takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 27 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 28. Tickets are available at the door for $5 per person, or $2 for children. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on the verandah.
