Boy in road had missed his bus

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Tuesday regarding a boy lying on Whalebone Drive, and the reporting party was concerned because he wouldn’t get up and might get struck by a vehicle. It turned out the boy missed his bus, but his mother came and got him.

A business owner on U.S. 2 east of Columbia Falls reported that someone cut the locks off a gate and apparently stole radiators and other aluminum.

There was a report of a back window on a pickup truck being busted out on Grand Drive in Bigfork.

A man calling from a market on Montana 206 reported that an ex-employee came to the business intoxicated, harassing employees. He said the woman does it every couple of weeks. The woman has been warned not to return or be charged with trespassing.

There was a report of an unwanted man repeatedly trespassing at some apartments on Grand Drive in Bigfork.

A CD player was stolen from a yard on Bain Lane in the Kalispell area.

A person calling from Fairmont Road reported a theft of cash from a strong box sometime over the weekend, and it was unknown how the perpetrator got into the building.

A man calling from Shady Lane reported that a woman stole his dog after she kicked him out of her residence.

A Sunnybrook Lane resident reported that someone damaged his mailbox.

There was a report regarding kids opening up a fire hydrant on East Evergreen Drive. The hydrant was eventually shut off.


 

A man calling Kalispell Police Tuesday reported the theft of three guns from his office on North Main Street.

A parent calling from Second Avenue East reported that his son was throwing and breaking things in the house. The son, who is on probation, was arrested and taken to juvenile detention.

A teenage boy was arrested on a warrant on East Idaho.

A woman reported that her cell phone was stolen from her apartment on Appleway Drive.

There was a report of a man being very violent, screaming at a woman and eventually pushing her at a hotel on U.S. 93 South. The man could not be located.

Early Wednesday, just after midnight, a man was arrested for drunk driving after a traffic stop on North Main Street and East Washington Street.


 

Columbia Falls Police got a report Tuesday from North Hilltop Road regarding the driver of a black truck with Canadian plates “flooring it” to run over his son’s skateboard.
