Capital cruises by Flathead

HELENA — Helena Capital used three quick touchdowns in the first eight minutes of play to jump out to a 20-0 lead and rolled from there in whipping Flathead 54-31 in Class AA football play Friday night.

Helena Capital (5-2) scored on the opening kickoff to set the tone early.

Capital outgained winless Flathead 485-330 in total offense.

Flathead is back in action Friday at home with Bozeman.
