Glacier falls to No. 5 in Class AA football poll

While the top teams didn’t change, there was a lot of shuffling in this week’s polls.

Glacier dropped a spot in the Class AA poll, falling a spot to No. 5. Great Falls C.M. Russell remained atop the rankings, edging Butte by just one point. Billings West rose two spots to No. 3 as Helena fell two spots to No. 4 following its loss to CMR.

Polson jumped up to No. 3 in Class A, still trailing Billings Central, the unanimous top squad, and Dillon. Laurel fell two spots to No. 4 after its loss to Billings Central and Livingston held on to the fifth spot.

The top six spots remained the same in the Class B poll, with Bigfork keeping its spot at No. 5. The Vikings will play No. 4 Missoula Loyola on Friday for a chance to advance further up the rankings.

Fairview leads the Class C 8-Man poll and Hot Springs was the unanimous No. 1 in 6-Man.
