Senate debate comes to Kalispell tonight

The Daily Inter Lake presents a debate between Democratic Sen. Jon Tester, Republican Rep. Denny Rehberg and Libertarian Dan Cox today at 7 p.m. at Flathead Valley Community College.

Tickets for this event already have been distributed, and there will be no admission at the door except for ticket holders.

Doors open at 6:15 p.m. at the Arts and Technology Building on the FVCC campus, and those attending are asked to arrive early enough to be seated by 6:45 p.m. 

Doors will be closed at 7 p.m. so latecomers will not be able to enter. Signs will not be allowed in the debate hall, so please leave them at home or in your cars.

The debate will be streamed live at 7 p.m. today at www.dailyinterlake.com and it will be shown on tape delay on Optimum’s local-access cable Channel 9 in Kalispell at 8 p.m. Tuesday, then repeatedly through the following week. 

Yellowstone Public Radio and Northern Broadcasting also will be on hand tonight to tape the debate for later use by their affiliates.
