A 24-year-old Kalispell woman was given a four-year deferred sentence Tuesday in Flathead District Court after pleading guilty to felony criminal mischief.

Mariah Clawson, also known as Mariah Hay, entered and ransacked a Sixth Street West home on April 26, 2011. She also jammed paper into the baseboard heaters and turned the thermostat all the way up.

Clawson was also charged with misdemeanor theft, but that charge was dropped when she pleaded guilty to the felony.

In addition to her deferred sentence, Clawson was ordered to pay $3,614 in restitution.
