HELENA — Flathead is one victory away from a perfect season in AA Western Division volleyball play.

The Bravettes improved to 11-0 Friday afternoon with a 18-25, 12-25, 25-23, 25-17, 15-13 triumph over Helena Capital.

“After the second set, I had a heart-to-heart with my seniors,” Flathead coach Leon Wilcox. “They turned it around.”

But it wasn’t easy.

Flathead missed three serves to begin the third set and trailed 5-1.

Wilcox said libero Iris Matulevich “had a really good match.
