Raffle winner gets Springsteen tickets

 Three Whitefish schools will sell raffle tickets beginning Oct. 29 for a chance to win two tickets to the Nov. 30 “Wrecking Ball” concert with Bruce Springsteen and The E-Street Band in Oakland, Calif.

The fundraiser is organized by North Valley Music School in conjunction with Whitefish High School and Whitefish Middle School.

Included in the winner’s package are passes to the VIP E-Street Lounge, round-trip airfare for two, three nights’ hotel accommodations in San Francisco or Oakland, and ground transportation by car service to/from the airport, hotel and concert.

Tickets are $10 each or three for $25. They are being sold by students and are available at the offices of Whitefish High School, Middle School and North Valley Music School, as well as the following outlets: The Sportsman & Ski Haus (Whitefish and Kalispell), Nelson’s Hardware, Montana Expresso and Great Northern Brewery.

Tickets are nontransferable; the winner must be 18 or older to win.

All proceeds will benefit the schools’ music departments of Whitefish Middle School, Whitefish High School and North Valley Music School.

The drawing will be held Nov. 15 at the percussion and jazz concert at Whitefish High School.
