Eureka spikes Thompson Falls for District 7B tournament title

BIGFORK — Eureka captured the District 7B volleyball tournament title Saturday evening by rallying past Thompson Falls 25-19, 17-25, 10-25, 25-22, 15-10.

Cassidy Morgan had a team-high 20 kills and five aces for Eureka. Jenna Peterson led in blocks with five.

In the consolation final, Troy downed Bigfork 25-11, 25-14, 19-25, 24-26, 15-3.

All four teams move on to the Western B divisional tournament, which begins Thursday in Ronan.
