Kalispell police responded to two locations early Saturday morning after a large fight at a bar on Airport Road.

According to the Kalispell police blotter, 18 men were reported fighting in the parking lot shortly before 2 a.m., throwing beer bottles at one another, with one man bleeding from the head. The fight led to a police pursuit, but that pursuit was later aborted.

At approximately 2:40 a.m., a woman was reported for showing up at her apartment on Airport Road after leaving the bar, needing assistance from the apartment manager to get in. The person who reported the incident said that when the two walked in, an 18-month-old child that had been there alone was laying in a puddle of urine.

The woman, who was very drunk, cried that her boyfriend had been involved in the fight. He later showed up, covered in blood, and said he had hit another man with a beer bottle. He then began drinking a bottle of tequila.

The man was the suspect from the assault call, but the victim was unwilling to pursue charges.
