The Flathead County commissioners and Planning Board will hold a joint workshop on Wednesday to talk about everything from neighborhood plans to floodplain regulations.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the second-floor conference rooms of the Earl Bennett Building, 1035 First Ave. W. in Kalispell.

Specifically, Commissioner Cal Scott will lead a discussion about what would be needed for the county to help provide business opportunities for local farmers.

Planning Board member Charles Lapp will address the new flood plain in Evergreen.

Planning Director BJ Grieve will give a status report on neighborhood plans and lead a discussion about issues that may impact how future office resources are prioritized toward neighborhood plans. He’ll also talk about flood-plain and zoning regulations.

Since this is a work session, no formal votes will be taken.
