Tom Bush, 81

Uncomplaining and a stoic fighter to the last, Tom’s stubborn struggle with cancer ended in the early morning of Sept. 11, 2011.

“He has gone to join Billie, the love of his life and wife of 55 years.”

A resident of Whitefish since 1981, his love of flowers, golf and Mariners’ baseball was second only to his family.

His brothers Jeff and John, sisters Cora, Janis and Eva Jo, and his sons Bob, Tom and Doug were in his thoughts to the end. His special love for his niece Debbie kept his light shining. He leaves six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends who will miss his wit, Texan charm and quiet confidence. He will be missed!

A memorial celebration will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at 475 Bayou Road in Kalispell (at the Presentine Bar access). Call Tom White at 249-7309 for directions.
