GREAT FALLS — Glacier senior Troy Fraley turned in another sterling performance on Friday, winning the Great Falls Invitational cross country meet with a standout time of 15 minutes, 54.7 seconds.

Fraley blew away the field, dominated by Class AA teams, finishing 47 seconds ahead of runner-up Colt Smith of Helena Capital.

“Should be a record on that course,” Glacier coach Mike McLean.

“We don’t have verification on that, but it was an outstanding time.”

McLean said Glacier’s top six boys all ran well. The Wolfpack placed fourth as a team.

The Glacier girls wound up seventh out of 12 teams. The Wolfpack was led by Jessica Chery, 22:19.6.

“She had a solid run, looked good early,” McLean said of his leader.
