Capital downs Glacier in volleyball

Helena Capital handed fourth-ranked Glacier its first loss in Western AA volleyball action on Saturday, downing the Wolfpack 25-16, 25-15, 12-25, 25-22 at Glacier High School.

Capital held an edge in every statistical area but blocks. Glacier (7-3 overall, 2-1 league) won that battle 10-7.

Cassi Hashley had 13 kills and six blocks for Glacier. Tiffany Marks was next with 12 kills.

“We were not as consistent today,” Glacier coach Christy Harkins said.

“We got ourselves in holes early on in games and had a tough time digging out.”
