Glacier High gears up for homecoming week
The Glacier High School students will open homecoming week Monday dressed as super heroes.
Super Hero Day begins a school spirit week of dress-up days and other fun festivities. At 7 p.m. Monday, girls will take to Legends Stadium for the annual powder puff football game.
Volleyball games will start at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Homecoming prince, princess, king and queen candidates will be announced Thursday. Boys and girls soccer games will start at 4 p.m. Thursday.
At 5 p.m. Friday a booster club barbecue is planned at Legends Stadium followed by the homecoming parade at 6 p.m. The parade starts at First Avenue West and proceeds to the stadium.
The football game against Hellgate begins at 7 p.m.
Alumni attending the football game are asked to meet near the northwest corner of the track to be announced as classes during halftime while homecoming royalty is announced.
A semi-formal dance is from 9 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the high school commons. Cost is $5.
