The Glacier volleyball team picked up a big Western AA conference home victory on Friday, beating Helena High in three sets, 25-21, 25-23, 25-10.

Tiffany Marks led the Wolfpack with 15 kills and four blocks against the extremely tough front line of the Bengals.

“Tiffany had a great game,” Glacier coach Christy Harkins said.

“She was so aggressive at the net. I thought Kailea Vaudt did a really good job passing for us too.”

Vaudt, who had a match-high 15 digs, helped the Wolfpack adjust to Helena’s tall, athletic block of Kaitlyn Oliver and Mallory Grimsrud.

“Those girls are big forces at the net, they’re good blockers,” Harkins said.

“They did a good job at the net. I thought our girls did a good job of making adjustments to handle that block.”

Hannah Liss led the Wolfpack with 27 assists and four aces.

Glacier plays host to Helena Capital this afternoon at 1.
