Man arrested after report of disturbance

Kalispell Police arrested a man for obstruction on Sunday, after responding to a report of a man punching and chasing a girl in a parking lot on Second Avenue West.

Earlier on Sunday, a woman who had just moved into a house on Fifth Avenue West told police the neighbor’s vicious dogs got out and attacked her dog.

A truck was egged on Sherry Lane.

An auxiliary cord, computer bag and computer were reported stolen from a locked vehicle on U.S. 93.

Someone went through a house, storage unit and vehicle on Sixth Avenue West. Nothing was missing.

A house and car on Garland Street were egged.

A black and white children’s bike was found on Fifth Avenue East and turned in to police.

Early Sunday morning, an operator with a violence-free crisis line told police he got a call from a man who said he was in Kalispell and having urges to force himself onto a 15-year-old girl. The operator said he heard what sounded like the man forcing himself onto a female, and as the situation progressed it started sounding consensual. Police tried to locate the man by tracing his cell phone. The phone company said police in Beverly Hills got the exact same call 12 hours earlier.

A man on U.S. 93 confronted some teenagers who were trying to steal beer and one of them swung at him. They drove off in a silver Chevy Impala.

Police arrested a woman for driving under the influence after stopping her on Woodland Park Drive.

Late Saturday night, teenagers in a silver Chevy Impala stole three cases of beer from a business on First Avenue East.

A chain saw was stolen from a truck at Hutton Ranch Plaza.

Saturday evening, police arrested a man on a felony warrant for three counts of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs and a misdemeanor warrant for theft.

Police advised five people panhandling on Hutton Ranch Road to not approach vehicles.

A panhandler at U.S. 93 and Treeline Road was reportedly holding up his shirt and showing off a colostomy bag. Police were unable to locate the man.

Saturday, a 12th Street West woman told the Columbia Falls Police Department she was getting threatening messages from a man in Nevada.

A Motorola tablet computer was found on Whitefish Stage Road and turned in to police.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited someone for possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on U.S. 93.

Someone was arrested for driving under the influence.

Deputies cited someone for criminal sale of dangerous drugs.

A partner family member assault was reported on Arlee Pines Drive.

Polson Police arrested someone at a grocery store for a probation violation.

Someone was arrested for criminal contempt when police responded to a crash at 10th Avenue East and Seventh Street East.

Officers arrested someone for partner family member assault on Seventh Street East.
