3rd break-in at business

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday from a business on Montana 35 in Evergreen regarding a burglary in which “everything is destroyed.” It is the third time the business has been broken into this year.

A clerk called from a convenience store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen to report that two kids entered the store and showed her a small handgun but didn’t point at her. They then stole some beer and left in an El Camino-type vehicle.

There was a report from Haskill Basin Road near Whitefish regarding a feud between high school girls and boys, with the boys apparently damaging a car and refusing to return items that belong to the girls.

A man calling from U.S. 2 in the Kila area said some kids in another vehicle threw a beer can out the window, and it struck and damaged his vehicle.

There was a report of a tractor stolen from the yacht club in Somers.

A Bowdish Road business owner reported that he had lent a vehicle to an employee who has failed to show up for work and has not kept in contact with the employer.

After drinking and getting into an argument over a debit card at a Sunset Drive address, a couple were separated for the night.

A woman calling from a Woodland Road residence in the Columbia Falls area reported that her neighbor attacked her after their children got in a dispute over a toy. Then a man reported from the same address that the neighbor’s husband or boyfriend came over and threatened to beat him up.

Later, a woman calling from Woodland Road reported that a man and woman attempted to get into her house, but they eventually returned to their neighboring trailer.

A woman calling from a vehicle on U.S. 93 south of Whitefish reported that two intoxicated women in another vehicle approached her, attempted to strike her and were banging on her vehicle, forcing her to lock herself in.

There was a report of a man striking a woman at a Whitefish Stage Road residence.

 

There was a report of a woman pushing a shopping cart down one lane of U.S. 2 in the West Glacier area. She said she was walking to East Glacier. The Montana Highway Patrol responded. 

 

Kalispell Police got a report Sunday about golf clubs and a gear bag stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Grandview Drive.

There was a report of a vehicle broken into on Fourth Avenue East. The dashboard was damaged, and a stereo was ripped out.

There was a report of a radio, a center console and a Kindle taken from a vehicle on First Avenue East.

A woman calling from Eighth Avenue West said her car was keyed, and she has an idea who did the vandalism.

At about 7:30 p.m. Sunday, there was a report of about 25 kids and numerous vehicles loitering in a parking lot on First Avenue East North. They were told to move along.

There was a report of two men fighting in a bar on U.S. 93 South.

Someone reported that someone rifled through her car on 12th Street West, but nothing of value was taken.

Monday morning, at about 9:20 a.m., there was a report of a man wearing a red jacket and carrying a crow bar attempting to break into the back of the old Eisenger dealership building on West Idaho and North Meridian Road.

There was a report of five panhandlers hanging out on property near a bank in Hutton Ranch Plaza, but they left before police arrived.

A person called to report that he had located his stolen snowboard in a Kalispell pawn shop.
