Stephen R. McBride, 68, passed away in Brendan House in Kalispell on Sept. 16, 2012.
Stephen was born on Oct. 10, 1943, in Hammond, Ind. He grew up in the Hammond area. He graduated high school, and moved to Phoenix where he graduated from MMI as a master mechanic for Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He married Sandra J. Couch in Auburn, Calif. They were married for over 40 years.
He then worked for Harley-Davidson most of his life. Biking was his passion. He also liked reading and science.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra; daughter, Vickie; and a sister, Ruth.
He is survived by his sons, Mitchell and Robby Odom; brother, Richard McBride; five grandchildren, Michael and Brook Odom, and Matthew, Stephenie and Chance Childress; and five great-grandchildren, Meghan, Morgan, Noah, Lacy and Savannah.
A potluck celebration and gathering will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, at 1050 Helena Flats Road in Kalispell.
