'Jesus' arrested in downtown Kalispell
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office assisted Kalispell Police in responding to a report of a man claiming to be Jesus who was screaming at people near a restaurant on Second Avenue West and a casino on West Montana Street Thursday night. The man was arrested and taken to the county jail.
Earlier in the day, there was a report from a woman at a Columbia Meadows Drive residence who said her boyfriend assaulted her and left with her 2-year-old baby. The man was later located and arrested.
A woman calling from Tamarack Lane in the Columbia Falls area reported that her ex-husband has posted provocative pictures of her on a website.
There was a report of a crying baby who was locked in a car on Willow Glen Drive in the Kalispell area. The car was eventually unlocked, and the baby was OK.
A man calling from Second Avenue West in the Kalispell area called to complain about roommates who have boarded up the living room.
There was a report of the front windows shattered at a business on Montana 35 in Bigfork.
There was a report from a grocery store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen regarding a highly intoxicated man who wanted to be taken to the hospital for help with his drinking.
Kalispell Police got a report Thursday night about a man pulling a knife on another man in the Woodland Park area. The suspect was later located in a vehicle with several other people. The man was arrested for assault with a weapon, and a woman was arrested on a warrant.
There was a report of two men fighting in a parking lot off Airport Road. The fight was apparently over a woman.
There was a report of a bicycle stolen from the yard of a home on Second Avenue East.
Earlier in the day, a teenage boy was arrested for shoplifting at a store on First Avenue East North.
A black computer bag was reported stolen from the county library on First Avenue East.
After being reported for hitting a woman at an 11th Street East address, a man was arrested for partner-family member assault.
Friday morning, a man reported that someone threw a rock through a window of his vehicle on Second Avenue West, and a battery cable was stolen.
After a traffic stop in the Woodland Park area, a man was arrested on a warrant.
There was a report of numerous items stolen from a vehicle on Sixth Street East.
Columbia Falls Police got a report Thursday of a young buck stuck in a fence on Second Avenue West. It turned out that the deer was dead, and it was taken to a food bank.
