Man in wheelchair spotted around town

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday regarding a “beat up and bloody” man in a wheelchair taking a bottle of wine into the bathroom of a store on U.S. 2 East in Evergreen. The man was removed and banned from the store.

An electric fence charger was reportedly stolen from a post on a McNannamy Draw property.

There was a report of man being assaulted by a group of men in a pickup near the railroad tracks and Flathead Drive in Evergreen.

There was a report of a gun, a spotting scope, a GPS device and tools stolen from a home on Coon Hollow Road.

A woman calling from Jellison Road said her boyfriend was pushing her around and destroying things in the house.

There was a report from U.S. 93 South in Lakeside regarding a drug-troubled daughter stealing her mother’s vehicle.

A man calling from Ainley Lane in the Evergreen area reported that someone was shooting up to 100 rounds “over and around his house.” It turned out that a neighbor was indeed target practicing.

Several transients who set up camp on a property off Southside Drive were told to move along.

At about 1 a.m. Monday, a person calling from East Bowman Drive reported that someone had attempted to break into his house. A screen was taken off a window, and a car fled the scene.

 

Kalispell Police got a report Sunday of an iPhone stolen from a shopping cart at a store on West Idaho Street.

A Ninth Avenue West resident reported that a neighbor threatened him, saying, “You watch your back; I’m going to get you.”

There was a report of a highly intoxicated man in a wheelchair at a store on West Idaho. The man didn’t appear to steal anything, but there was a broken beer bottle in the bathroom.

There was a report of a man entering a store on West Idaho Street and stealing a case of beer. The suspect was captured on video, and he may be the same person who stole a case of beer last week.

 A woman calling from Windward Way reported that she was punched in the face by her boyfriend, who just got out of jail.

At about 3 a.m. Monday, a man calling from Empire Loop reported that his girlfriend won’t let him in her house to get his clothes. He ended up getting his clothes but was advised that he and his new girlfriend are no longer welcome there.

There was a report of a vehicle stolen from a location at Three Mile Drive and North Meridian Road.
