Daniel Owen Williams, 39
Daniel died from a motorcycle accident on Sept. 1, 2012, in San Francisco.
Dan, born March 19, 1973, in San Diego, was the youngest child of Lloyd O. and Carol F. Williams. He joined his family in raising horses, cattle, chickens and whatever else would grow.
In 1985, Dan moved with his parents to Kalispell. The family enjoyed spending time exploring the Flathead, his mother's home territory. Dan graduated from Flathead High School in 1991 and spent the following year working in San Diego with his brother, Bryan.
He attended Seattle Art Institute for a year, before entering the motor sports industry, bringing him to San Francisco. His integrity, management ability and excellent people skills made him a valued employee by different employers, including Lake City Honda Kawasaki Seadoo Seattle, The Dainese D-Store and lastly, Munroe Motors. Wherever Dan went, he made many wonderful lifelong friends who loved him. Motorcycling was his great love.
Dan was preceded in death by his father Lloyd, and sister Cynthia.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Williams, of Kalispell; sisters, Christina and Valerie; brother, Bryan; three nieces, Bethany, Christiana and Deborah; and one nephew, Andrew; aunts, uncle and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved girlfriend, Sarah Fox, and her parents, Lynne Belmont Fox and Gordon.
Dan also leaves his many friends and fellow employees who made a celebration of Dan's life at Munroe Motors in San Francisco on Sept. 9.
There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, at Central Bible Church, 902 First Ave. East in Kalispell, with a luncheon afterward in the gym.
