Woman camera-shy with police

A woman on Second Avenue West called the Kalispell Police Department on Sunday to ask why an officer just drove by and took her picture. While on the phone, she also wanted to know if it’s OK to have her dogs off leash in her yard.

A Palmer Drive man reported finding some live ammunition outside of his house. He was advised to dispose of it.

An assistant manager at a restaurant in Hutton Ranch Plaza reported suspected credit card fraud.

A cell phone was reported stolen on U.S. 93.

Officers arrested a woman for an outstanding warrant after she was stopped at West Center Street and North Meridian Road.

Saturday night, a man was arrested for driving under the influence after he was stopped on West Idaho Street.

A man was arrested for disorderly conduct when police responded to a noise complaint on East Washington Street. Several callers complained about loud music coming from the business.

A Fifth Avenue East man told police he wants to park on the public street in front of a neighbor’s house to avoid parking under a messy chestnut tree in front of his own house. The man told police the neighbor came out and asked what it will take to keep the man from parking there.

A South Main Street man told police someone is harassing and threatening him.

Sunday evening, search and rescue personnel were called out for a water rescue at Devil’s Elbow on Hungry Horse Reservoir. No further information was available.

Saturday morning, a 13th Street West caller told Columbia Falls Police that all the mailboxes were opened and mail was thrown out in the street.

Someone on Ninth Street West reported getting fraudulent checks.

A woman on 12th Avenue West requested extra patrols because of a suspicious man standing outside of her house for two straight nights.

Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested someone for possession of dangerous drugs Friday on U.S. 93.

Ronan Police arrested someone for driving under the influence Saturday after a traffic stop at U.S. 93 and Third Avenue North West.
