8-year-old becomes triple offender after assault

An 8-year-old boy got his third talking to by the Kalispell Police Department after assaulting an 8-year-old girl on Hawthorn Avenue.

A drunk man on Seventh Avenue East North contacted the police to report he had a recent head injury, that his “brain is in pain” and that his body felt numb, but said he didn’t want an ambulance because he would get in trouble.

A motorist reported a man with a green sweater and a black eye walking in the road on Hawthorn Avenue. The motorist said he didn’t give the man a ride because he was frightened of the man.

A woman, who was bleeding from a cut above her left eye, was dropped off at her home after wandering into a U.S. 93 South gas station.

A man sustained a broken nose and bruised face after being assaulted at a U.S. 2 West bar.

A Hawthorn Avenue resident complained that their vehicle was egged for the third time just three hours before a Green Briar Drive resident reported someone had egged their vehicle and several others multiple times.

A Northern Lights Boulevard resident reported hearing a gunshot from the area of Garland Street.


A man on Seventh Street West was reported to the Columbia Falls Police Department for asking people if they minded if he smoked with them. His behavior was also frightening children.
