The Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Kalispell is moving to the former Jesco Marine & Power Sports building, with the opening planned for April 22.

The current space at 215 W. Idaho St. is 3,700 square feet; the new building at 2610 U.S. 93 S., which Habitat is leasing, is 12,000 square feet.

“We’re so full, we’ve needed a new place for a long time,” store manager Mark Clifton said. “We’ve been looking for something for a long time. Finding something that we could do economically as a nonprofit was difficult.”

The store especially needs the room, Clifton said, because after only selling building materials for years, it now accepts donations of housewares, furniture, appliances, office equipment and more.

Profits from sales of the donated goods are used to build Habitat homes for families in the Flathead Valley.

Saturday will be the ReStore’s final business day at its current location. For more information, call 752-2905.
