2012 Montana Bear Hunt - TRIAL & ERROR

Spot and stalk spring bear hunting in Montana.

This season the goal was to try to arrow a bear with my bow. My only previous bear hunting experience was last spring when I shot a bear on my first real day of true bear hunting. We didn't have any go-to locations, and we explored multiple areas looking for that one opportunity. Over the course of the year we saw 26 bears, and we were able to get within bow range on three different bears in three different areas. Watch as Travis and I search for the right opportunity in the mountains of Western Montana.
