Rash of vehicle break-ins in Kalispell
Kalispell Police officers had to intervene in a dispute between a 16-year-old girl and her mother at a Fourth Avenue East residence Sunday.
There was a report of a man sleeping in the post office on First Avenue West at about 8 p.m.
Early Monday, at about 1:15 a.m., police received a report about a man trying to gain access to three vehicles on Appleway Drive. The man was scared off after triggering an alarm on one of the vehicles.
The next morning, another Appleway Drive resident reported that her boyfriend’s vehicle was broken into and there were items missing. Another Appleway Drive resident reported a vehicle break-in, with medication and a satellite radio missing. And another Appleway Drive resident woke up to find an open door on a car and medication missing.
A woman reported seeing man trying to get into her vehicle on West Idaho Street.
There was a report of a vehicle being ransacked, with change taken from a console, on Seventh Avenue West North.
A person was arrested on warrants at a location on Sunset Boulevard.
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday regarding a family dispute on Farm to Market Road. About five people were involved, but they managed to calm down on their own.
There was a report of a man stealing two iPods and about $700 worth of merchandise from a store on U.S. 2 East in the Evergreen area.
A person was detained for shoplifting at a store on U.S. 2 East in Evergreen.
There was a report of five teenage boys entering a vacant home on Solberg Drive.
Whitefish Police got a report of a dispute on Somers Avenue Sunday involving a man who was punching and kicking at the door of a home until he injured his hand.
Columbia Falls Police got a report Sunday from Seventh Street West involving two windows being broken out of a van.
