Intoxicated man kept from driving

After getting a report about an intoxicated man who could barely walk going to a bar on Meridian Road Monday, a Kalispell Police officer confiscated his keys and made sure he had a ride home.

A woman showed up at the police station with merchandise that her daughter stole from the mall.

A woman calling from North Meridian Road reported that her ex-boyfriend has been stalking her.

There was a report of an unruly patient at the Kalispell hospital’s emergency room. Hospital security had the man under control and were requesting assistance.

At about 11 p.m., there was a call about a woman sleeping in a hallway at a hotel on U.S. 93 South. The woman was taken to the Kalispell hospital for an evaluation.

Early Tuesday, just after midnight, a father called from Eighth Avenue East address to report that his daughter had not returned home. The daughter was found at a man’s house, and citations were issued for minors being in possession of alcohol.

An Eighth Avenue East resident said his vehicle was egged sometime Monday night.

An employer on Airport Road asked for assistance because a group of employees who were recently fired had made threats. One of those employees later called to ask for assistance in picking up paychecks because the business owner was being hostile.


The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Monday that medication was stolen from a local post office after it had been sent from a veterans’ clinic. 

There was a report of an attempted break-in to a storage shed on Winter Loop Lane in Whitefish, with damage to a door.

A woman calling from Kings Way reported that she caught a dog eating her chickens. 

A woman calling from U.S. 93 South of Whitefish reported that she had her taxes done in February and then she claimed that somebody stole the paperwork out of her car. Monday was the deadline for filing tax returns.

There was a report of a woman stealing wine from a store on U.S. 2 East in Coram.

Someone was arrested after a deputy responded to a disorderly conduct report on Triplett Road in the Kalispell area.


Whitefish Police got a report of an iPhone and a hat stolen from a jacket in a locker room on Baker Avenue Monday.

After a traffic stop on Pine Avenue, a person was arrested on a warrant.
