Nine athletes win 2 events at Glacier triangular

Glacier junior Shauna Williams leads the way in 100-meter dash Tuesday afternoon in a track meet at Glacier High School. Williams winning time was 13.54.

Five boys and four girls were double winners Tuesday afternoon at a triangular track meet at Glacier High School.

Glacier’s Evan Epperly won the 100 (11.27) and 400 (52.39), Troy Fraley posted the best times in the 1,600 (4:39.05) and 3,200 (10:06.29), Adam Cebulla won the 110 (16.58) and 300 (41.82) hurdles, Kyle Griffith had the best distances in the long jump (21-1/2) and triple (43-3 3/4) jumps and Zach Dennehy dominated the weight events, winning the shot put (42-1/2) and discus (141-5) with event-best throws.

Epperly’s 100 time is a new school record, breaking the old mark set by Andrew Nelson of 11.41 in 2011.

Winning two events in girls competition were Glacier’s Shauna Williams in the 100 (13.54) and discus (114-6), and Katie Wiley in the long (14-6) and triple (31-4 1/4) jumps, Bigfork’s Makena Morley in the 800 (2:21.79) and 1,600 (5:15.49) and Ronan/St. Ignatius’ Stephanie Lewandowski in the 100 hurdles (17.16) and high jump (4-11).

This was a non-scoring meet.
