Fight card set for smoker

Fifteen bouts are scheduled for tonight’s fourth annual Crosstown Boxing Smoker.

Doors open at the Flathead County Fairgrounds Trade Center at 5:30 p.m. The ring action starts an hour later.

Tickets are $20 for ringside seats. General admission is $12 for adults and $8 for students.

The smoker is a fundraiser for local wrestling programs.

Competing are students from Bigfork, Columbia Falls, Glacier and Flathead.

Three boxers return, hoping to triumph for a second straight time. They are: Cody Walters of Columbia Falls and Flathead’s Mathew Oftedahl and Cassie Krueger.

Two bouts are rematches from last year.

Krueger faces Keyawana Larson of Glacier and JuanRodriguez of Glacier goes up against Cole DeLaughder of Flathead.

Krueger won last year by unanimous decision.

Rodriguez and DeLaughder battled to a draw.
